Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms govern your use of connorgraymusic.com and the services offered by Connor Gray (“I”, “me”). By using this site, booking a lesson, or purchasing anything offered here, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
This site offers:
- Private lessons — one-on-one guitar instruction, in-person in Calgary, AB or online via Zoom.
- Lesson packages — prepaid bundles of lessons at a discounted rate.
- Online courses — self-paced courses sold through third-party platforms.
- Event tickets — admission to live performances.
- Music licensing & services — sync licensing, transcription, and related commissioned work.
2. Bookings & Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking and is processed securely by Stripe. Prices are listed and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). A lesson is not confirmed until payment is received; lesson packages are paid in full upfront.
Lesson scheduling, cancellations, rescheduling, make-ups, lateness, package expiry, and refunds are governed by the Lesson Policies, which form part of these terms. In short: all payments are non-refundable, cancellations require more than 24 hours notice to reschedule, and packages must be used within 8 months of purchase.
3. Online Courses
Courses are sold and delivered through Udemy. Purchases, access, and refunds for those products are governed by Udemy's own terms, including their 30-day refund policy.
4. Event Tickets
Tickets may be sold through Eventbrite or directly via Stripe checkout. Eventbrite purchases are subject to Eventbrite's terms of service. For direct purchases, tickets are emailed to the address provided at checkout; admission requires a valid ticket or confirmation.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — recordings, compositions, transcriptions, arrangements, photographs, video, and written material — is the property of Connor Grayunless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Music licensing: Sync and other licensing terms are negotiated per track. Until a written agreement is in place, no usage rights are granted.
Lesson materials: Materials shared during lessons are for your personal study only and may not be redistributed or republished.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use this site for anything unlawful, or to submit false, misleading, or abusive information through any form.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, its checkout, or its integrations.
- Scrape or republish site content at scale without permission.
7. Third-Party Services
This site relies on third-party providers — Stripe (payments), Eventbrite (ticketing), Zoom (online lessons), Google Calendar (scheduling), Udemy (courses), Resend (email), and Supabase (data storage). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Liability
This site and its content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or its services — including missed lessons due to technical failures on third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Privacy
How your information is collected and used is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
11. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
